Ways to Support

 sponsoring a child

There are several fantastic ways you can get involved and make a difference! The most impactful option is to Sponsor a Child for just under $0.83 per day ($25 a month).

To become a sponsor, please register through the 'Sponsor A Child' button and then contact our Sponsorship Coordinator: Alexis at alexis.sozokids@yahoo.com to receive your sponsorship packet. The website doesn’t automatically identify new sponsors, so this step is crucial.

If sponsoring a child isn’t an option for you right now, you can still make a huge difference by simply giving a donation. Every contribution is deeply appreciated and used efficiently. All donations are tax-deductible and directed to where they are most needed to support children in rural poverty.

Sponsor a child today or make a donation to help us continue our vital work. Thank you for your generosity!

donate food

Donating non-perishable foods is a fantastic way to make a meaningful impact in our community. Your contributions help keep our local food pantry stocked and ready to assist families in need. Some ideal items to donate include:

  • Peanut butter and jelly

  • Canned tuna and other proteins

  • Noodles and pasta

  • Macaroni and cheese

  • Canned vegetables and fruit

  • Spaghetti sauce

These staples provide nutritious and easy-to-prepare meals for those facing food insecurity. Imagine the relief and joy your donations bring to families struggling to put food on the table. Your generosity can make a world of difference.
Consider organizing a food drive at your workplace, school, or place of worship to maximize your impact. Every can, jar, and box adds up to a substantial contribution. Together, we can fight hunger and support our neighbors in need.

SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT

Welcome to our Catering Life Skills program! Operated by dedicated volunteers and students, we are thrilled to offer you Culinary Arts Prep at NO COST.

Speaking to groups, whether large or small, has been one of the best ways to share the mission of SoZo Kids. Within these audiences, there are often individuals eager to find meaningful ways to give back to their community and society. Many simply need to be made aware of the opportunities around them, and this is a perfect chance to do just that.

There is never any charge to have Pastor David Houck or a member of his staff speak to your group. If you would like to schedule a speaking engagement for your church or organization, please contact the Scheduling Office.
